Hi Grogg Fans
Things are still busy here at the Groggshop, with plenty of great new Groggs to tell you about. Top of the list is our Commemorative figure of our founder, John Hughes. Although the "Hand-off Gareth" was designed to celebrate our 30th. anniversary, we felt it was a shame more of our collectors couldn't join in the celebration as the figure was so limited.

Therefore, this lovely miniature figure of the "Groggman" himself, is now available to our "Collector's Club" members only.

We feel it will make a great signature to your collection.

 Rugby
On the Rugby side, following Pontypriddd's recent successful run, we've been inspired to produce some Ponty. "Mini's". Brett Davey and Gareth Wyatt were the first, quickly followed by special testimonial Groggs for Jason Lewis and Matthew Lloyd. As with previous testimonial figures, a percentage of the cost of each figure sold, will go directly to Jason and Matthew's fund. We hope the boys have a great year as they have been tremendous servants to Pontypridd R.F.C. and thoroughly deserve it!

We were delighted to be presented with two new, great shirts for our ever-growing collection. The first was a rare red Pontypridd jersey from Brett Davey and secondly, an even rarer Ponty Vs. South Africa jersey from Matthew Lloyd.

The latest "Millennium Minis" to be grogged are Kevin Morgan and Rhys Williams. Rhys was presented with his grogg just before christmas and was delighted with the result. Rhys said," I am very aware of Groggs being one of the great traditions of Welsh rugby and I know it's a great honour to ha ve one made. What has been presented to me will be cherished for years to come and I can only thank Richard Hughes for making me look so good!" On Boxing day after the Pontypridd Vs. Cardiff match, we made a very special presentation to Bob Norster, the Chief Executive of Cardiff R.F.C. As with the Bleddyn Williams "five on a base", the figures included all the strips Bob played in during his illustrious career. Bob was thrilled," I have had the significant privilageof being "grogged" a number of times over the years, but this latest honour is particularly special and appreciated for two reasons. Firstly, to be fortunate enough to have been selected amongst such an elite group and secondly, to be presented with awonderful memento of my playing career from one of our game's finest supporters, the Hughes family of the "World of Groggs".
