Brian & Nigel Clough, Daily Mail, January 2009
Nigel Clough shown here with his famous father and his ‘Starfacts Player of the Month Award’ made by Richard in the late 80’s. This portrait was unique and was one of the series made including John Barnes, Paul Gascoigne and Peter Shilton.
John, Carly and Michael Jackson! Western Mail, 1992
Carly, aged 6, holds aloft the first Michael Jackson Grogg made by Richard in 1992 which was presented to him after his concert in the Cardiff Arms Park. Although no picture of the presentation was taken, Michael sent his personal camera man to the Groggshop to film where it had been made! Carly has recently re-acquired one of these very rare figures for our museum, being one of only 22 made this is quite a coup!
