On the 23rd of May 2010 Gethin Jenkins captained the Cardiff Blues to a stunning victory over the star studded Toulon in front of a record crowd at the Stade Velodrome in Marseilles. In defeating Toulon 28-21 the Blues made history becoming the first Welsh side to win a European trophy.
This Unique Grogg figure depicts the victorious captain in the fully logoed strip worn on that momentous day, it will be auctioned at Gethin’s Testimonial Dinner ‘Inside the Lions’ Den’ at the Cardiff and Vale College Wednesday 20th Sept.
