The Return of the Osprey

On the 4th of September 2005 a young Swansea born 19 year old, Alun Wyn Jones made his debut for his region, the Ospreys, in their 22-20 win over Leinster at the Liberty Stadium.

Little did the Ospreys supporters know but they were witnessing the first flight of a player who would come to dominate the second row for almost two decades. He went on to become the Most Capped International Player in the history of Rugby Union with 170 tests (158 for Wales and 12 Lions tests) winning five Six Nations Championships, 3 Grand Slams and two titles as Captain of his country. He toured with the British and Irish lions an incredible four times featuring in 12 consecutive tests and captaining the Lions to a test series victory in Australia in 2013.

A truly outstanding athlete and competitor, Alun Wyn Jones will go down in history as Wales’s greatest second row and one of the greatest players rugby union has ever produced.

He played for his beloved Ospreys 268 times becoming their record appearance holder in a remarkable 18 unbroken seasons.

In August 2026 he announced he will be returning to the Ospreys as a Director to help the next generation of Osprey chicks take flight and hopefully, they will reach the same heights and standards set by Alun Wyn in a truly remarkable career.

DELIVERY (Mainland UK) – Providing your order is in stock (personalised inscriptions take 1-2 working days) and is placed before 2pm, we will send it out on a Next Day Delivery service via our courier DX. They provide customers with a 2 hour slot for delivery, you should receive this information by email/text message on the morning of expected delivery. You can also arrange delivery for a more convenient day or deliver to a neighbour via their website.
Please make sure you have supplied us with a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the parcel Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. There are no weekend or Bank Holiday deliveries.
Smaller ‘Gift Shop’ items might be sent via Royal Mail services, this is usually on a Tracked 24 service and takes 1-2 days depending on when it is ordered.
